Case Study 034
This kitchen look was completed by using ‘Laser gloss taupe’ on the base units along the sink run and the tall units, while the island and wall units are ‘Atlanta terra oak’. With a quartz worktop and upstand in ‘Cinetza’ and smoked mirror glass wall panel.
This lighting in this kitchen gives allows the client to flick and choose between them all to create different atmospheres for the room. From the LED strip lighting around the ceiling box, to the pendants hanging from it. Or you could use the under cabinet lights which get reflected in the smoked mirror glass. As well as being able to use the plinth and handle trim lighting on the island. The options to create different moods and setting with the lighting in this kitchen are endless and give this kitchen an extra edge.
The island is a big focal point for the kitchen as it is at the heart of the room. The boxed celling above was created to help zone the kitchen from the rest of the room as it is in the middle of the living room/dinner. The boxed celling also helps to make a statement for the pendant lighting. On the island the client has opted for a flush ceiling extractor hood over their Siemens induction hob, this was to make it as discrete as possible because of the kitchen being in the middle of such a busy room, the client didn’t want to distract from the rest of the furnishings and artwork. The island also has a flip top power sockets perfect for plugging in your kitchen gadgets or for charging your phone.
The rest of the appliances to complete the kitchen are 2 full size Siemens ovens one with full steam perfect for baking and keeping your dishes juicy and full of flavour as well as, an under counter freezer and full size integrated dishwasher. The client also opted for a Caple wine cooler perfect for storing your wine ready for your dinner parties.
