Case Study 033
Country living.
This traditional shaker style kitchen has been created by using ‘Gainsborough pale grey’ with quartz worktop and upstand in the ‘Alaska’.
The smaller details really make this kitchen and help to make it look and feel like a traditional country kitchen. This has been achieved by using our 1008/1009 chrome knob & shell handle which is a mix of both cups for the drawers and pull outs and knobs for on the doors. Another small finishing detail that sets the kitchen off is the pelmet at the top of the wall units this is then bevelled to match the shaker pattern on the doors. Arguably the butler sink with the mixer, spray and boiling tap is the big period feature that grabs your attention along with the clients Range master cooker.
The rest of the appliances to finish off the kitchen consist of a Siemens microwave oven, full size integrated dishwasher, and canopy extractor hood, as well as a Caple wine cooler.
The Island in the middle creates a central point for the kitchen where you have a big workspace for you to prep all your meals on where you can spread all your ingredients out. The island also has stools for you to sit at to drink your morning coffee and pop up power sockets so as you can plug in any food gadgets or charge your phone. The ribbed side panel detail on the island adds to the overall finish and charm of the kitchen because it was decided not to be a smooth panel as this wouldn’t have given the same to end finish.
