Case Study 032
Timeless Classic
This shaker style kitchen has been created by using ‘Charnwood pebble grey’ on the base and tall units with ‘Charnwood diamond grey’ on the wall units. These two colours are tied in together beautifully by pairing them up with a granite worktop with upstand and matching window sill in ‘Sense antico Bianco’.
The main focal point of the kitchen is the beautiful white Aga oven placed neatly in the old fireplace. The decorative shelf above also in white ads yet more character to the kitchen as well as allowing the customer to display a bit of their own personality. The other appliances to finish the kitchen off are a full size integrated Siemens fridge and freezer along with, a canopy extractor hood as well as, a compact oven with a microwave, this is perfect for the customer when they want to quickly cook a pizza for dinner rather than having to wait for the Aga to heat up.
To continue the line of the tall units the customer has added in an open bookcase sitting on top of the worktop. This is a great use of the space that would otherwise be a dead corner with no easy point of access. This has been made into a feature by finishing it in ‘Charnwood diamond grey’which makes all the customer cook books pop.
To make full use of the space the customer has opted for a peninsular island with space for stools. This gives an area to the kitchen where guests can sit and chat while you are preparing and cooking. It also offers a much deeper bigger bit of worktop space for you to use when you feel like you want that little bit more room to spread out while cooking.
